We were delighted to support our Primary Care Network’s Endometriosis Information Evening, designed to bring together local women, families and healthcare professionals for an evening of learning, support and empowerment.

Endometriosis affects around 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth, yet many people wait years before receiving a diagnosis. The event aimed to raise awareness, provide practical advice and create a safe space where people could ask questions and feel heard.

What the evening included

• Talks from local GPs about endometriosis, symptoms and treatment options
• Advice on managing day-to-day life with the condition
• A guided meditation session to help attendees relax and recharge
• An opportunity to ask questions in a supportive and welcoming environment

Whether someone has endometriosis, thinks they may have it, is supporting a loved one or simply wants to learn more, raising awareness remains important.

Together, we can help improve awareness, reduce delays in diagnosis and ensure that nobody feels they have to face endometriosis alone.
