Sign in to Patient ServicesPlease order online whenever possible. You may also leave your paper repeat slip at the surgery. We do not accept repeat-prescription requests by telephone or email.
What happens next?
Only select the medicines you currently need. Order before you run out.
Weekends and bank holidays are not working days. Some requests may take longer if a review is needed.
Your prescription is sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy. Ask them when it will be ready to collect.

Is my prescription ready?
After allowing three working days, contact your nominated pharmacy. They can confirm whether they have received and prepared it.
Questions or side effects
Your community pharmacist can advise how to take a medicine, common side effects and over-the-counter treatments.
Contact the practice team
For a prescription query that your pharmacy cannot resolve, send us a secure online message or telephone our pharmacist after 10am.
Change your pharmacy
You can change your nominated pharmacy in the NHS App, through your other online prescription service, or by asking any pharmacy that accepts electronic prescriptions.

Medication reviews
If you receive repeat medication, we may invite you for regular monitoring or a medication review. Please complete any requested blood tests, blood-pressure checks or appointments so that we can continue prescribing safely.
If an item does not appear on your repeat list, use the practice form to explain what you need rather than selecting a different medicine.
Prescription charges and help with costs
Some people are entitled to free NHS prescriptions. If you pay regularly, a prescription prepayment certificate may reduce the cost.
Unused or expired medicines
Take unwanted medicines to a community pharmacy for safe disposal. Do not put medicines in household waste, flush them down the toilet or give them to another person.
Used needles and sharps need separate safe disposal—ask your pharmacy or local council for advice.
What your community pharmacist can help with
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can advise about medicines and many common conditions. Many pharmacies offer private consultation rooms and are open during evenings or weekends.
