If someone’s life is at risk, or you cannot keep yourself or someone else safe, call 999 or go to A&E now.

For urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and select mental health option 2 . This service is available 24 hours a day, for all ages. You can call for yourself or someone else.

Text 07480 635134 to contact the local NHS mental health team. Available 24/7 to people of all ages registered with a Greater Manchester GP.

The team aims to reply within four hours. Do not wait for a text reply if you need immediate help. Call 111 and select option 2, or 999 if there is an immediate risk to life.

If anxiety, depression, stress or sleep difficulties are affecting you, contact us. We can listen, assess your needs and discuss treatment and referral options.

NHS talking therapies

Six Degrees provides NHS-funded talking therapies for people over 16 in Salford, including support for anxiety and depression.

Referrals are normally made by a GP or health professional. If you are having difficulty accessing support, call Six Degrees on 0161 983 0900 to discuss your options.

Taking antidepressants?

They can take time to work. Keep your planned reviews, and contact us if you have side effects, feel worse or are concerned about your treatment. Do not stop taking them suddenly without speaking to your prescriber.
