We have always struggled to maintain an active PPG with many of our patients not being able to spare the time to meet with us regularly to discuss what’s going on with the practice and what we can do to better ourselves.

We got our thinking caps on and had a chat to some of our neighbouring practices and decided to completely change how to do things. the outcome… We’re going virtual!

We realised the biggest obstacle for our patients coming to our PPG is time. So we had to come up with something that wasn’t time consuming (for us or our patients) and that can also fit into our patients busy lives. We decided that instead of having 3 monthly meetings we were going to start sending our updates via email and the post.

We now send a seasonal newsletter (every 3 months) as well as a short survey. The results of the previous survey will be sent in the following email / letter for our patients to have their opportunity to feedback their views and opinions.
